Once the necessary amount of gum and bone tissue has been removed, Dr. Loshak will cleanse and suture the treated area.

For a few days after your cosmetic crown lengthening surgery, you will be restricted to a soft food diet and need to take care when brushing your teeth as to not harm the area. Most patients require only a mild pain reliever like Tylenol or Advil following the procedure and feel fine after a few days. A follow-up appointment is required a week after the procedure to check on healing.
